How fortunate am I to get to present to the San Diego Bead Society! They flew me out and I gave my presentation and held my trunk show at the Mingei Museum! The Mingei is in Balboa Park which is just spectacular!
So much to see and take in, lots of beauty, both formal and informally!
San Diego Has many Niki Saint de Phalle sculptures so this made me very happy. I have been a fan of hers for a long time now, but had never seen one in person. There was one in front of the museum and one inside the museum, and a couple more downtown!
I stayed at an amazing AirBNB and fell in love with my hosts. It was an oasis to be sure complete with hundreds of flowers, a Koi pond and my own shaded patio. Loved it!
